Chelsea will pay the £89m release clause in Jan Oblak's Atletico Madrid contract to sign him as a replacement for Thibaut Courtois. (Source: Mundo Deportivo)

Oblak is a fantastic keeper but Chelsea will have made terrible business if they sell Courtois and buy Oblak for more than double. Crazy to see fees like this for him and Alisson, makes Ederson look even more a bargain.

Even worse if they let him go and end up with Butland

What sort of statement though.

Thought he was ok at Juve, and it's more PEG that's making him look dogshit down the road - but is he really all that???

People still think he's a big name. Personally I think he's several grades below the likes of KDB, Modric etc and doesn't have the work ethic to significantly improve in the future.

Pogba is definitely overhyped but in right system he can be very good player I think.
The only system he would thrive in, is one which will virtually give him a free role.
Problem is that he aint no messi or ronaldo.
I see nothing in his game which indicates that he is remotely capable of matching or generating there kind of stats by way of goals or assists.
Good player but not consistent and some snot have the discipline or quality to play as an out and out 6, 8, or 10.
The Pogbas of this world you build your team around.
A bit like Southampton did with Le Tissier years ago, the rest of the team always did his running.
The only difference is that Le Tissier was much much better and arguably more impactful on games that Pogba is.
