Looks like there's no hope for now.
He's been at top teams and no one has been able to get him to perform consistently.
Not sure has he many options left?

I agree. He’ll move somewhere after Chelsea, have 3 good games at the start and then fade into nothingness and probably repeat the cycle 4 more times before retiring.

Didn’t he find his form again at BVB ? They couldn’t afford his wages to make permanent but career wise he would have been better off staying there permanently and building his confidence back. Probably have to take a hit of £5m to £8m a year in wages and unwilling to risk that.A real waste of talent but not the first and won’t be the last.
