General transfer rumours

Raggishat is funny, I think even shak would see the funny shit in that one. No pun intended.

Manchester City will rival Man United and Chelsea for Leonardo Bonucci’s signature, according to reports in Italy.

According to CalcioMercato the Blues are interested in a move for the veteran Italian defender in the summer transfer window.

The 31-year-old is reportedly considering his options at the club after AC Milan were banned from European competition by Uefa earlier this week.

Pep Guardiola is a long-term admirer of the central defender and could look to reinforce his defensive options this summer.

Vincent Kompany's injury uncertainty is reportedly a mild concern for Guardiola and he is reportedly ready to sign Bonucci if he becomes available this summer.

However, it is suggested United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all monitoring any potential deal and would provide stiff competition.

Well they’ve got to justify spending all that money on the brand new stables they recently had installed. Phil Jones alone doesn’t make it cost effective.

That’s only because his feed is so expensive, especially with the CO2 shortage.

Not really, he improves them (slightly)
I would say any improvement (which I think you would agree is almost entirely tactically for a limited number of specific matches, rather than overall) is far outweighed by what that ‘improvement’ actually means for United’s system, tactics, and level of quality as a whole.

That is, his place in the squad is an indicator of their deficiencies as related to the modern game. So, long may he stay.
