General transfer rumours

If you see that highlight reel in united's thread page you see Onana is far from exceptional. Still he signed for them lot so supposedly things get over amplified. Trafford isn't (yet) any better than Onana

I think it's silly to say an unproven U21 goal keeper is miles better than a goal keeper that was part of a team that got to the UCL final and conceded just one goal in the final. Let's tone down the banter a little bit shall we?

Very Acute Angle Haaland shot that hits his left leg
Very weak deflected KDB shot that goes to his lap
Rodri curving banana shot that he froze on
Very weak Foden shot that he falls down on and smothers easily

Please show me some Courtois level saves so I can agree with you..

That clip shows nothing lol saves that should be saved and all his kicking bar 1 went to City players.

Barnes scored more league goals last season (in a team that was relegated) than Saint-Maximin has in total over four years at Newcastle

Last sumer they bought very well. But then: 45m for Gordon, now this nonsense Barnes-ASM. Also Tonali is a good player but non elite and they paid the double of his real value. The have lost the plot. Maybe because now Howe has more power in the market? (probably Gordon and Barnes are his signings). Serius mistake when the coach make the market (you can see Chelsea last summer market with Tuchel).

This "one of the best in the world" talk is just silly, before the CL final and rumors came out about him joining the rags he was not even considered as a top3 GK in Serie A, with Napoli, Lazio and AC Milan arguably having better GKs. But as soon as United wanted to sign him he suddenly was described as a world class player like every player the rags are signing according to the media. Good with his feet, very error prone. One decent season in Inter at age 27 certainly doesn't make you world class. Probably not an upgrade on De Gea, better with his feet, worse at saving shots.
