Just personal insight from people working in the Swedish FA. They have never seen anything like him and they have worked with Sweden atletics as well. It also the fact that he is ridiculously wuick with the ball as well. See the goal against United.

Like I said to ome of the other posters I don’t want him at City. I actually prefer Nunes as a footballer. I just think people don’t know how rapid he is especially with the ball.

That raw pace is had to get from training.

Oh yeah, I don't doubt that he's exceptionally quick - it's definitely much harder to be that quick with the ball as well.

Couldn't agree more! Hopefully we get to see more of Khusanov in a fully fit defensive unit - would immediately improve Dias' and stop him looking stranded

I think people forget he is HG which also adds value. We just don’t like him because of his United background. I think we have players with speed and acceleration on the wing. We need that pace in for our cb’s

On a side note his dad Jospeh Elanga is quite the character. He refused to sign a contract with his club Malmö back the early 2000s. Did not matter that he got a big raise as part of the contract. He wanted a black mercedes as part of the contract. It had to be that brand and that colour. After some back and forth he finally got his car. Few weeks after he got the car he got stopped by the police. He did not have driver license so they took his car. Needless to say the opposition fans had a lot fun chants directed at him about getting on his bike.

Becuase hes 26 and while hes "flopped" at liverpool he hit 11 and 9 goals in this first 2 seasons as a bit part player...and before that he hit 26 goals in 26 for Benfica

Hes not worth it but if he remains some form he could be

Backed up by Son and that Tels who they made permanent, now Kudus and Wissa? That's not including Richarlison who I assume is leaving

Don't get me wrong that front 4 isnt amazing but its pretty strong for their level

All the while having Sarr, Bentancur and Bissouma as CM options...none of whom can keep themselves fit?

Same for their CBs who again can't keep themselves fit

Acceleration is far more important than out and out speed in football.

It’s why Usain Bolt doesn’t look particularly quick when he played Soccer Aid against really slow celebrities.

There are too many turns and stops in football for players to get up to maximum speed, unless counter attacking from deep.
