Not sure if anyone's seen this series, I believe it's to be shown on BBC soon.

Seen it referred to as 'The German Band of Brothers' in some reviews.

That's misleading to be honest, but it's well worth a watch. There are streams out there, which I wont post for the usual reasons.

Historians will raise an eyebrow (or more than one) and polish veterans were outraged (though it had good ratings on Polish tv or because of that)

As a war movie it is well made. Mostly about soldiers getting involved in war crimes behind the lines. The first clip is made by some guy on the internet, the second is not suitable for kids to watch

It's a bit naive and rash to call this a 'German Band of Brothers'.

From the clips I've seen and from what I've read it's about a couple of troops on the Eastern Front who witness the horrific war crimes carried out by the SS and Wehrmacht.

Have 'Got my hands on a copy' looks good and will watch some of it tonight.

The Band Of Brothers and The Pacific were brilliant and if this is anything like they were they will be a good watch.
