Genuine question

My beef with our manager is his blind faith in MDM just like Bobby Manc had with Mario. Simple as that. I don't get it.

I do. I can see why he's still picking him. He was unfortunate with these two recent incidents The first was due to Navas and Vinny making a positional mistake leaving DMD a tough choice whether to let messi go or make a challenge. It was a bad decision in the end but that happens to all defenders. The one today was partially due to Micah going missing. Again he had to make a challenge against a forward that had a turn of pace. What I'm saying it's not all his fault you have to look at his colleagues role in the incident. Anyone agree on this ? Or is this all really down to DMD ?

partially, but he's making the wrong decisions time and again and its costing us. Hart got dropped for bad decision making...

It's just boring to be honest.

We win 5-0 every week and he's the best manager ever in the world bar none.

We lose or draw and he's a shit heel who should die so Mancini can save us.

It's the same for most of the players. World beaters when we're winning 7-0 but useless twats if we lose or draw. No middle ground. No perspective.

Tabloid thinking, as I've said, a lot of people have been programmed to see anything less than a quadruple as failure. On the other hand the rags beat West Brom and the world comes to a stand still and we're looking at the Busby Babes all over again. Tabloid programming of the populace.

Spot on again TMQ

Gutted as I am like all fellow blues I am seeing a very worrying trend. Why is it that all other new managers are getting a reprieve from fans and pundits alike yet Pellerini gets all the flack? I mean he is a new manager, in a new league and we have one trophy SO FAR this season. Moyes and the rest are fine (even motor mouth Jose) and "should be given time". Yet we are supposed to win at least 3 trophies or we have failed?

Just a bit too much pressure I think and it needs a little perspective. Yes we have a great squad but it does take time and we have over achieved so far.

Moyes; ''fine''? Have you ventured on to RedCafe?

The press and the club have come out on more than one occasion saying they are fully behind Moyes.

I think the problem is he succeeded Mancini who was loved by 90% of the fan base for what he had achieved.
The media won't give any City manager a break regardless of who he is or what he does.

The media didn't give Mancini any recognition until he was sacked and he suddenly became the best manager ever and proof of our evil Muslim owners corrupt intentions.

Before we sacked him they treated him like shit and did their best to make him a comedy character, something he helped them with by being a bit too happy to play up to them.

The fans loved him, I loved him but the media thought he was shit. Until we let him go.

They can all fuck off. I want him back.

Wasn't it Mario's assist for the title winning goal? Get away.

-- Mon Mar 10, 2014 4:59 pm --

Because he was THE ONE. I just know it.

Funny how that didn't stop them winning the title.

Methinks you forgot that there was an entire season of football between us winning the title and Pellers coming in

As said earlier my biggest problem with him is continually picking MDM who is just simply not good enough.
I also think he underestimated Wigan with his team selection , we should have picked our best starting eleven and then if required taken players off with a view to Barcelona ?

In which we were runners up and FA Cup Finalists. And if you think I am putting up with Peller's hair for one minute longer when Bobby's hair is cosmic leagues ahead of that one trick Chilean pony and his pathetic excuse for a hair piece then I suggest you think again. This just will not do and all of you know it. Unless one of you brings me the hair of Dortmund Klopp before next Tuesday, you utter twats, then I will be intercepting Bobby at Heathrow when he comes in to play Maureen's boys. My mate's got the tranquilizer gun and I've got the get away car. He'll be back in our fair city next week before he even wakes up Those of you who don't like it can do one to the ginger swamp waller.

Fornicators.

How can Wigan beat us at Wembley then do this again less than 12 months later. Do our players have no bottle? How can these men go on that pitch and let this happen again? I honestly thought that my Manchester City would have gone on that pitch and kicked the shit out of Wigan. Do these players have no shame, the pain of the two defeats makes me sick and it will take a long time to put this behind me. I'm sorry the way I have spoke about my team but in my life I may get done the first time but never the second time. Cheers CTID

Thank fuck. A thread with some sense rather then the 3 question one or whatever. It took mancini a season and half to win something. And that was not in the most competetive season for years.

Fair enough the squad wasnt the same but it wasnt a million miles apart in terms of key players (bar sergio, fern and nasri. But we did have others). It will take a long time for all of pelegrinis new methods to rub off and for it to fully click. Judge him next season not this one

We did dick them 5-0 earlier on in the season, it's about attitude and desire .

You don't show them both then at this level yesterday will happen
