if he gets another loan somewhere higher and plays then thats great. he shouldnt be coming here to sit on the bench though

Why extend his loan for another 2 weeks, then a week later recsll hum, to send him on loan straight away? Weird.

I was reading the Walsall forums today, and they suggested that the extension of the emergency loan until the 29th of January was a sort of "we'll go on then, pay or lose him" to a few Championship clubs who are interested in him, namely Brentford.
His contract is expiring in the summer as well.
I really hope he isn't getting sold, he's shown he's got something about him, and for the first player ever to go through every age group of the academy and into the first team to leave the club after...1 senior minute for the club would be pathetic.

Does anyone know if Viera likes him as a player?
It was the MLS draft yesterday and a lot of people thought NYCFC would go for a young, energetic midfielder to compliment Lampard and Pirlo. They ended up with a winger.
Might be putting 2 and 2 together, but Evans would look like a great fit for NYC and vice versa.

But they only extended his emergency loan on Tuesday, for another 2 weeks.
So surely Vieira either knew he wanted him or not before Tuesday, or could wait a fortnight for him to finish his loan...
