As far as I can see a player can be registered to 3 clubs between July and June but they can only play a competitive game for 2 clubs and George has played against Sunderland for us when we won 4-1 and if I'm not mistaken around 12 games for Walsall so he can't play for any other team before July.

Could he possibly sign a contract extension with us, play for the EDS and be back up to the first team for a couple of months then go over to NYCFC and the MLS on loan for some time?

Hard to trust an article that says he's never played for the first team

I've got a feeling emergency loans don't count for that, but don't hold me to it. Not sure where I'd find the rules to check.

There is also a thread on the transfer forum and someone who seemed to be itk said a 3 year deal with Reading. I have my fingers crossed that Dan's whispers that it's a loan prove to be correct. I will be gutted if this is a permanent deal. I said earlier on this thread that I would be confident that he could do at least as well as Fernando.
