It’s not the repeated non-compliance, which did serve to greatly escalate matters and led to guns being drawn in the first place, but the reaching into his car (with the officers blind to what he was doing) even as they tried to stop him from doing it, that got him shot.

No amendment is needed.

They followed him,instead one could have gone the other way around the car and he wouldnt have been able to get into the car in the first place,he was unarmed,they have tasars for a reason,use it

I agree they should have tasered him but they wouldn’t have even needed to do that if he’d have acted like a normal person and followed the simple instructions.

The following of instructions that still leads to black men getting killed,the police are out of control at the moment,rock and a hard place,he was probably thinking of his three kids in the car,the po!ice had this covered,they had the means and tactics to bring him down and not half kill the guy,what we are seeing is a failure of police procedure and them knowing their arses will likely be covered,they need a rethink and fast

No, the NOT following of the instructions led to shots getting fired. Stop blaming the cops for everything. Criminals must have some level of accountability For their actions. Every time it’s because people think that they can do as they please. Follow the instructions and you will remain perfectly safe. Dumb criminals just like finding out the hard way.
