The list isn't legitimate. The info inc. e-mail addresses is publicly available on EduBase - so it's legitimate in that way. I simply downloaded it from there. But the recipients know nothing about my business and they haven't opted in. I haven't done business with them before.
However, the product should be of genuine interest to many of them; it's not like I'm trying to sell them fake sunglasses or viagra.
So yeah, my concerns are mainly:
* How can I get the e-mails through without them being blocked / flagged as spam?
* If a handful of recipients do click on 'This is spam/junk' or whatever, am I buggered?
Are there any ways of addressing these issues?

I'd be pretty wary of sending out 30,000 unsolicited emails mate. Maybe one of the legal types on here can offer better advice, but there are laws against this type of thing:
