When I'm in Turkey their internet filters will often block my browser from running certain websites - like YouTube & BetFair.

Does anyone know of a proven and reliable proxy or other way of getting around their sensors please?

I'll be over there tonight, and would like unfettered internet access for the duration of my time over there - and if anyone can help me with a simple fix I'd be very grateful.

Actually, I know someone who may be able to help:

sorry Jolly, I just left...

apparently you can defeat the Turkish censors by changing your DNS to make it look like you're Google (so my Turkish friend showed me... but he has three computers, one of which is set-up like this); I guess if you're there permanently then this is necessary.

Sorry guys, I missed this thread before.

Try this:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.sslunblock.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sslunblock.com/</a>
