Both clubs ended up getting relegated which imo hurts us in a way that if we send players there on loan they cant offer top level football there is a huge gap between La Liga and Segunda Division and even bigger between Eredivise and Erste Divisie as this league is full of 5-4, 3-3 kind of results on a weekly basis.

Also is there a point for Aleix Garcia and Douglas Luiz to go back there for 3rd season in a row?

Players are not loaned there with a realistic view of them coming back to City. Buying cheap, loaning them and selling in is the model. Occasionally we might need to send one away whilst we wait for a work permit or one might have a break through season but they will be/are the exceptions

Angelino was loaned to both of them and we’re about to buy him back.

Not sure it effects us that badly, although it's disappointing.

We have a lot of players who probably aren't really good enough to play regularly in La Liga and Eredevise, but who will improve greatly with senior experience, more chance of getting a regular game a division down. The guys that are good enough for the top level would probably get a decent loan move anyway, to a non-partner club.

They'll go to Sporting (Lisbon) or Anderlecht this season. If one of our clubs get relegated, we'll find another one :)

Probably better for us as they'll get more game time. Not sure many of them are ready to be regular starters in La Liga. More game time in a lower division might be of more benefit.

I think Luiz to Sporting would be a decent loan. Garcia I can't see making it here. It's nothing against the lad but our midfield is extremely hard to get into. I'd think if the right offer came we'd be willing to sell him this summer.

Can only see the Ilic brothers on loan at NAC Breda and nobody on loan at Girona; is that correct, or are we still to decide who goes out on loan?
