Looking how little ground they covered, he might have thought to have got a few more in considering the forecast was spot on.

Oh right soz,my bad.They showed it on telly and they had one in each corner and a big sheet covering the pitch and surprise surprise it was the centre of the pitch that was frozen.Did Tony Adams select the formation of the heaters aswell???

i agree ... i dont think they realize just how far away pompey is for us to travel, and also how much some people spent ... some lad was on about spendin a total of £80 on the train !?!?!

I also think the F.A should take some of the blame for this.
They should insist that teams comeing into the premier league should have undersoil heating installed or forfeit their place.

Agreed Svennis, and a half-mill fine would now be hilarious!
They are the classic example of a club trying to become bigger than their finances/fans allowed but thought that strong foundations of the club could be excluded in favour of signing loads of new players and looking nice.

Not our responsibility, as it was their fault the game was called off but it would be a nice gesture from the club. Money is seemingly no object, and they owe the fans. Putting on free coaches for all fans would cost about a fifth of Danny Mills' weekly wage.
