Did you read the article???

"Irrespective of all the money I keep hearing, they've only offered £5m, not a penny more," said Kinnear.

"We think it's personally insulting to probably the best goalkeeper in the Premier League."

Kinnear said he would be "heartbroken" to lose Given, but refused to be drawn when asked how he would react to City returning with an increased offer.

"We're at a stalemate," said Kinnear.

One of the facts is he's 32! I know GK'S have more batteries and last longer but i'd say 5m raising to 7m would be about right.

offer 6m and have done with it, at 32 he's not worth any more. Dont really care if we dont get him I think hart is quality.
