Glaziers Finances/Credit Crunch ?

They have some very risky financing in place that costs them a packet in interest. They aren't actually paying this interest but are adding it to the capital. At some point (possibly no later than summer next year) they have to repay this. They've supposedly tried to re-finance these loans twice and failed as no one is willing to cough up the couple of hundred of million that they need. If they can't repay then the shares that the money is secured on will be under the control of the hedge funds that provided the finance. Hopefully, if that happens, they will sell off everything to get their money back. Wouldn't that be awful if it happened?

so if they have to dump united, what is the likely outcome?
someone gets them on the cheap? and if so then what?

economics never my strong point.

Very true! The Glazer debt has created a leaner stronger United! Imagine if they had cash!

Have a heart guys, if it happens give them Vassel and Ball, we should even pay the wages of these two to help the rags take them.

Interest rates will be doing them a favour on their UK franchise investment.
