GMP - dreary me.

Had a junior officer done this they'd be down the road, she should be sacked, our chief has recently been pilloried for tweets he made, nothing has happened to him, that in my opinion leaves the floodgates open for everyone to do as they wish because if he gets away with it why not us underlings.
 
Full pay for sitting at home since May, sounds good.
Saggy tits though.
 
Ah, wherever and whatever the institution there is invariably a different (more favourable!) set of rules the more senior the position. Jack or Jackie Shit on the shop floor is out of the door within the hour. Jack or Jackie Diamond has the comfort of a long drawn out disciplinary procedure that, very much like parliamentary disciplinary procedures, finds 'no wrong-doing"!​
