How important could today be with us and Spurs clearly being our main contenders for 4th spot? There's a fair chance that the fight for 4th could go right down to the last game. I'm so relieved that we reduced our goal difference between us and spurs by 6 today. Only 2 behind now,
Could prove to be the difference.

Wouldn't say Spurs are our main rival, but the gd over the past few days will serve us well against all of the teams still in the race.

I am a bit hacked off really. The conditions today have given us a problem because we should have put at least 10 past Burnley today if the weather had been anything like. Spuds have got off lightly!!!!

I feel like that, had the fookin east lancs monsoon not appeared we couldve been in fron gd wise. Even the weather is conspiring with the FA

Don't forget Spurs could've lost a further 3 goals from the penalties and that disallowed goal.

Don't worry be happy!

I am still worried by the dippers, if we lose 4th spot to Spurs or Villa I least content myself with the fact that another team has broken the so called sky 4. Tomorrows game at Birmingham will be interesting. As for Spurs instead of beating them at home we can get away with a draw, there are going to be twists and turns each week alcohol and tranquilisers are the key to survival.

So am I. With any luck, Spuds will fall away over the course of the next few games but the dippers might easily win all their remaining games, meaning we're not going to have much room for manouvre and will need to be beating the likes of Villa, Spuds and the rags.
