Gobby Groups of Bully Kids - A Spike?

My upbringing was painfully strict but it was just to ensure I never got led astray. I grew up with lads who ended up in prison etc.

I can be heading home from the pub at gone 11 and see packs of teenagers messing around in the street. I was never allowed out that late. Do their parents not know or care?
I sometimes see kids out at 11.30 at night who are no older than 8 or 9 years old.

This could be why I see less packs of scallies roaming the streets. It used to be really bad in the areas I lived in around the early 2000s. You couldn't go to the shop without being given verbal or worse. The perils of being a student...

I also see less mither in the pubs these days. Many display this "pub watch" poster which means you're banned from them all if you're banned from one. I genuinely can't remember the last time I saw it kick off.
Your probably right mate I have a twenty years old in the house, he said he was having a gap year what ever the heck that is and never left the bedroom. The Mrs says he is depressed, In my eyes he's a lazy twat.

we used to hang about on fields cemeteries and behind shops, not to avoid to police but to avoid the generation of lads below our dads that would give you either a slap or a look that said, just wait till i see your dad at pool if we were gobshites.

It used to be just one or two nuisance families wherever I lived. I understand police have powers to disperse groups of more than four gobshite teenagers loitering around.

And good luck trying to drag unruly children to their homes. If mum / dad are in then you'll probably be had for assault.
