Apparently Anna Soubry has used the word Nazi to describe leavers but I cannot find any reference to it. As for Goddard. Prior to shouting in her face, he was last seen last summer telling a pro-Tommy Robinson rally that “satanic paedophiles” were occupying Downing Street. Goddard was captured on camera during the Soubry incident apparently mistaking Remain campaigner Femi Oluwole for David Lammy and later telling a non-white police officer “you’re fair game… if you want a war I’ll give you a war… you ain’t even f**king British.” Sounds like a lovely bloke!I genuinely don't recall anyone explicitly being called "a Nazi" on here for supporing Brexit, so feel free to quote me some specific examples and I'll happily retract that if I've got it wrong.

More worrying was the response from key Brexiteers and the caveats that accompanied them: “The abuse is unacceptable and I condemn it but a parliamentarian who advocates overturning a referendum result she promised to respect should not be surprised at unleashing such ugliness,” tweeted Tim Montgomerie, the former Iain Duncan Smith sideman whose Twitter profile includes a quote from the book of Isaiah, “I will turn the darkness into light”.
Morley MP Andrea Jenkyns wanted you to remember that Nigel Farage and Rees-Mogg had been targeted in the past and “abusive behaviour should not be tolerated from the left or the right”. With typical grace, Farage himself tut-tutted about the Liberty Defenders before hinting that Soubry should man up. “Those of us who have taken on the establishment have to endure the abuse; those within the establishment get a taste of it and suddenly they want the law changed,” he sniffed.
Meanwhile, echoing the new project fear, Rees-Mogg claimed the “tense” atmosphere outside Westminster was “one of the reasons for being very cautious about a second referendum”.
Godfrey Bloom, the former UKIP MEP who once said we should stop sending foreign aid to “bongo-bongo land”, popped up to argue that Soubry had “brought it on herself… ghastly woman”.
Goddard then followed up by telling his Facebook followers that he had called Soubry a Nazi “because she’s acting like one… we must remember the Nazis were elected into power and then went against ordinary Germans”. Facebook responded by suspending him. A PayPal account to which followers were urged to send donations was also closed.

I'm not sure Anna Soubry would take too kindly to your description of her as an elderly lady! The truth is though a number of leavers are racists. Their racist views on immigration are what drove some people to vote leave. Leavers don’t seem to want to recognise this in any shape or form. Now I say this with utter belief because I know people in real life like this, sadly my own grandma. To be clear I don’t personally know anyone on here that falls into this category.
Of course Nazi has much stronger meaning than racist. And people are wrong to just throw it around.
Point being though in this whole Brexit mess people are being labelled; sometimes fairly, often not. So while you’re trying to defend Goddard, or rather ask for everyone to be treated equally in your view, you’re ignoring the fact that this guy is poisonous and is an actual racist (nazi I don’t know) who has hounded an elderly woman in public and acted in a threatening manner towards her. Sadly his actions have given him exposure and is yet just one more example of the alt right’s rise in this country. Labels aside, this is a real and present danger to our democracy. It was only a few years ago poor Jo Cox was murdered!

She is (62) but I'm not sure that classes as elderly these days! You're obviously a lot younger than me!I’m sure she’d be less offended by that name than other ones she’s been called recently!
Plus she is in her 60s surely?
Excellent summary of what has gone on but do you have a point?
Is it that brexiteers are fair game and should stop moaning whilst remainers should be protected at all costs from abuse of any kind?
