Just been talking to a few lads at work about the game last night they asked if I watched it I told them I saw about 30-35 mins then turned it off as it was boring me.

Anyway I told them my opinion on Spurs was that I thought they were poor especially at passing the ball and heard that they were just as bad in the second half obviously I don't know the element of truth behind that but anyway.....

I was thinking of our up and coming game this Sunday against them and thinking that we can beat them maybe not a walk in the park but enough for people to turn around and recognise what we're about as this is apparently our "first real test"

Having said that I find myself this season thinking we can beat anyone to be fair, I don't care what all my rag mates say about the bolton game we were top notch and well deserved winners the 3-2 score line was flattering to Bolton as we should of won that 4 or 5 - 0 but bad defending kept us on the back foot.

There is not 1 team I don't think we can not beat in the Prem, people are banging on about them because they won last night with the second youngest squad (22.9 years or summin) but lets be fair if tottenham were to play as bad as I saw them play last night for 30 - 35 mins I'm sure we'd rape them.

Obviously Tottenham will step it up a gear against us on Sunday especially being at their place they'll be alot better then last night so even if we win 1 or 2 - 0 them lot will still harp on about how its not 3 - 0, one rag actually called hart shit cause he has let 1 more goal in then De Gea........ Oh dear.

I thought that last year when we played liverpool at their place and then got bummed.

I don't think this any more i just think from game to game and hope we win i think this is whats good about football any thing can happen.

Got into the habit over the last few seasons of texting my lad before the game starts that I've a bad feeling about the up-coming game, no matter who the opposition are. Calms the nerves a little and prepares for the possible upset!

I was very much like this even sometimes last season, I use to set myself up for disappointment so if we ever lost I wouldn't be gutted, I'm not trying to get ahead of myself because we've won our first 2 games its just that the squad looks alot more fitter and more understanding of eachother then last.

I on the other hand would see it as a great test of character if we were to go down by one early on in the game. It's not the games we are winning from start to end I worry about. It's the games we should win, but trail, that worry me.

IMHO there are no teams we should feel defeatist about from the onset. Home or away.

If Aguero had been 100% match sharp, Dzeko would have had two assists and Aguero would have surely scored both the sitter and the header he put past the upright.

Just keep playing the way we do and I will be a very happy panda.

We should fear no team , on our day we can go to any ground and win , as long as we have that belief that we can beat everyone , we will succeed . If you go into a game feeling the other team are superior , like many teams do at the swamp , usually the team folds and gets spanked . If we have a positive mentality , and don't underestimate the opposition but know we can beat them , then we should do very well this year .

We have:

- The quality of players to win every match.
- The manager to enforce the right tactics.
- The manager to pick the correct team.

The only thing lacking is the confidence of the supporters in the playing staff and management. The winning mentality has been installed in the players after last years success and they will be hungry for more.

We will have blips, but they'll be few and far between.

After the end of last season, I've now got full confidence in the manager and squad. I expecting, based on our past, to cock up either (or both) the league or the fa cup, but we were fantastic.

At the weekend, each time Bolton pulled a goal back, I never doubted we had the class to keep our lead and win the game.

I'm confident that we can win something again this year.

We have won an awful lot of our games since Liverpool. 9 from 10 in competitive games. 14 from 16 if you include pre season. That bodes well.

It would be a boring game if it were so predictable. There will be the usual shocks and blips along the way. Just fewer of them now I suspect thank god.

I have been a city fan for 41 years and in that time I cannot remember a period when I fully expected to win each and every match. Not saying that we will but we can and should. We are playing great football and a genuine fear is being installed in teams playing us, this will lead to teams setting up so for a draw t best which in my opinion only increases the chances of winning.

I have waited and dreamed all of my life and am enjoying it to he full. Come on CITY
