Gonzalo Higuaín

Anyone know much about him? could he play as a main striker holding the ball up/threat in the air etc? With Real spending all this dosh maybe woth a bid, or what about huntelaar? Both 6 foot, decent scoring records and young enough to adapt and improve in the prem

We need midfielders and defenders mate not strikers coz were gettin RSC and Tevez(maybe) and we already have robbie and bellamy so i wouldn't want him.

Re: Gonzalo Higuaín

Higuain is a quality player and finished with around 20 league goals last season for Real and only got his chance because of the injury to horse face. Don't think they will let him go however because he is only 21/22 and is their best striker now.

Certainly agree we need defenders pref a left footed CB and maybe another midfielder. Just think if RSC's knees go again he won't be much use to us. Guess we have to put our faith in the medical like we did with Bellamy!

what if they sign Villa and we offer 30m£?

Re: Gonzalo Higuaín

They still wont sell because they only have Raul, Higuain and Huntelaar as RVN is expected to leave and money is no object to them now so it will take a lot more than 30 mil

Fair point and i guess they might not need the dosh! Can u see my point on RSC tho? If his knee aint right I just dont see the point in signing (although I think he is quality when fit) Just wondering who else we are/can look at in this position.

I see your point as there are a lot of strikers out there better than RSC and i do not rate him at all but its all up to Hughes and who he thinks is best for us. If it was up to me i would sign Fernando Llorente from Bilbao, around 6"4, good touch and a prolific goalscorer and would cost 10 mil tops as Bilbao aren't doing well financially.

Re: Gonzalo Higuaín

he isn't a striker he's an attacking midfielder but had to play upfront cos off the injuries they had and he would be a quality addition to us

dont think he's for sale tho said to be one off the best prospect in wourld football
