Hey Jazzy. It’s already a reality. I had my knees replaced there years ago. My surgeon was being trained on robotic assistance then. He said the robot doesn’t replace the surgeon but takes over on the really fine detail stuff where, for instance, precise cuts are made or the routine like stitching/ stapling.Replace GPs with robots they will open their doors and see people face 2 face 24/7 , also surgery is an area where robots can outperform humans in the near future
It is definitely the future. The only question is what speed can it be sensibly introduced and how will society be able to adapt with thousands / millions more without paid work.
