Following the excellent work by my fellow Prestwich blue, I've decided it would be an even more classy gesture if we took out an ad in The Stoke Sentinel wishing our ex-manager good luck in his new job.

I'm told we can have a half-page for 3 Guineas and a full one for 5 Guineas. We need to give them 2 months notice so they can cut the wooden blocks they need for the printing so I need to know quickly who is in for this.

I am more than happy to donate one farthing to this noble undertaking.

I think it should have a picture of Hughsey looking annoyed/confused with his arms crossed with the simple caption beneath saying "Dynamic".

It would convey so much about the man and what he means to City fans.

They'll need more than the luck bluemoon can wish. Mind you the parachute payments are a good few quid :)

Good idea, maybe we can share the love with Fulham and QPR. ;)
It'll take a long time to raise 3 guineas tbh.

Obviously.

Yes - I'm in for sure!
However, can you please hold off a few days before going to print for the guaranteed forthcoming annoucement of the arrival of ... Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki?

This way we can wish all of our old Management Team all of the best and look forward to another season of footballing science down at the Brittania.

How many times will Stoke drawn next season? I'm going for 27.

-- Thu May 30, 2013 7:16 am --

Good shout Bill, They are losing Begovic aren't they?

Jack Butland will replace Begovic.

Kia will make no money that way so im with Bill.

Lots and lots of aged players from his past that can be brought in for ridiculous (agents) fees and on ridiculous wages and length of contracts.

"ker-fucking-ching"

Surprisingly, I've read that some Stoke fans are pretty positive about it, citing Blackburn and Wales as successful.
