When I saw Bob Taylor celebrating I thought an overweight fan had run onto the pitch already.

Him, Jamie Pollock and Andy Morrison lent some credibility to the allegations about a drinking culture under Royle.

We just invade the pitch home and away.

Newcastle.
Bradford.
Wigan.
Blackburn.
QPR.
West Ham.

And you’ve missed a few out of there.

Most fanbases have one, maybe two at a push.

Ive done 3 I think... Blackburn 2000 as a kid, QPR and West Ham as a pissed up adult.

We used to go to watch the reserves night games. Only the Maine stand was open and we would all just leg it across the pitch into the Kippax when the play was up at the North stand end.
Not sure why we did it but it was a bit of fun for us delinquents.
