Whats telling in the blackburn and bradford game is they streamed on from all sides. Truly took over those groundsWe used to have one every last home game at Maine Road it was tradition.
The craziest one for an away game was probably Blackburn away, thousands on the pitch including me. Also on the pitch for Charlton, QPR and the other two title wins. Great fun.
Was there. 16th birthday. Yep scorchingHot day,2-2 ?

Away end for blckburn but was in the bradford end. 14 years old so keeping shtum but when tricky trevor scored half the stand went up.Yes I was at the Bradford one too. The Blackburn game I was in their kop behind the goal which meant I couldn't really celebrate as our goals went in. I'd been sussed out as a Blue and told I'd be okay so long as I didn't jump up if we scored. Funnily enough the lad sat next to me on my left was a Blue too so we kind of celebrated quietly together, then went mad as we ran onto the pitch at the end.
Makes me cringe these days. Small-time.We're the best at it.
Every other fanbase let's of fireworks, flares, or stays in their seats.
We just invade the pitch home and away.
Newcastle.
Bradford.
Wigan.
Blackburn.
QPR.
West Ham.
Yes and everybody accused me of fiddling the attendanceSame age as me mate. I remember the stadium was bursting at the seams for the Charlton game
At least our fans dive on the pitch, unlike the scum and dippers whose players dive on the pitch, now that’s small timeMakes me cringe these days. Small-time.
