I seem to remember that the official figures given were either 48,000 or 54,000, but can’t remember which off the top of my head. Was only about the 8th or 9th game I’d been to, so was blown away by the whole occasion

As i said, i was 10. People were 2 to a seat and sat in the aisles. I think the turnstyle fellas were on a bigger blag than swalesy

47,000 mate, totally laughable!! it would’ve been nearer the real attendance if the 4 + 7 swapped places ;)
