Good old fashioned pitch invasion

Palace away 1990, me too, remember the Pitch was bright yellow as they had sprayed some DDT on it to kill off the grass prior to it being relaid over the summer, plenty of fancy dress and a scorchio day, even had a few friendly pints with the Palace after the game, we were united against the Rags that day.

Coventry away in the cup.

I think we beat them 2-1, Gary Flitcroft scored the winner from memory. We were in the Coventry end and got sussed out. Had to run across some strange roof thing alongside the pitch and instigate a mini pitch invasion at the final whistle to get away.

Them was the days.
Drew 2-2

Would that be when they beat us 4-0 so much mud on the pitch they had the tape measure out to find the penalty spot, also put paid to our title hopes we finished 2nd.
