Good old fashioned pitch invasion

That was one amazing away day. Absolute bedlam on the special from Piccadilly. Great memories
I remember the escort from the station (South Norwood?) to the ground. Police lined the road standing on the road side of the pavement. We passed a supermarket and a few off licences and hundreds of Blues just piling into them and stocking up on the beers with the old bill being unable to do anytjing about it.

I was just thinking, with all these Trafferpool cunts piss boiling that pushed the lot to justify themselves with their Citeh bingo, and "no one cares about Citeh", and "Citeh has got no fans at all", blah fucking blah.

Is there any records of celebratory pitch invasions? Or some sort of comparison with those bitter red cunts if they have some.

There was a mass walk out at the sick swan, does that count ?

When L'pool won one of their titles in the old Division 1 in the '70s a few dozen Scousers ran onto the field at the end of the match before the trophy presentation and the Kop as one were yelling "get off the fuckin' pitch" over & over. Guess that sort of thing just isn't approved of at Anfield.

It was like a home game. I know the Rags took the piss for a few years about us saying how many went to that game, but there really were fucking loads of us there!

They stopped taking the piss when they said they’d take more when they won their 19th title there in 2011, but we shat on their numbers.

Brilliant pictures pal, great memories and everything you say is spot on.

Have a mate who was a season ticket holder at Blackburn with his Dad. They said they had a lot of offers before the game for their ticket but didn't accept any, and went themselves.

He said the match was the scariest he's ever been to, to this day. As he put it, 'City fans are absolutely mental'.

They realised at some point it seemed to be all City fans around them. He said when Goater scored, a lot of City fans in the home end of each stand cheered. But when the second goal went in, City fans started to realise who were City fans and then clocked they could do what they wanted. After that the conga around the pitch started hahahahaha

Great quote from your Blackburn mate "city fan's are mental "" it's called love your football club and it's history one day you may get your reward ( 93:20) / edit beat the red shit in a semi final

Yeah he said it in a way like, City fans are very passionate. Which to be fair we are. I just wish the atmosphere was like it was at Maine Road. Although it sounds daft, I don't blame the fans so much for that, I blame the stadium.
