Today, after more than thirty four years working for the same company, I'm leaving.
I've worked in six different branches, three of them as the boss, having worked my way up from the shop floor. It's been a richly rewarding job, and one I wouldn't swap for the world, but there are other things I want to do whilst I'm still young enough, just, to do them.

I've just said my goodbyes to all the staff and now I can take life a little more easier starting right now by going for a pint to celebrate my semi retirement, whilst they are all still in work having meetings and a talk from the new boss.

Phew!!!

Whilst what you are offering sounds great
I don't watch Tv, I don't gamble and I'm not a great reader.
But the pub sounds a good option
