it was nice while it last, cutting it to 10hrs per month from May, shame.

I am assuming this does not count those that joined by invite before the they put the 20hr limit on.

It says "Halve the time", I have it on at least 6 hours a day at work never mind 20 hours a month! This is not good!!!!

Tried the Unlimited service for a while but it was too problematic with my phone with updates etc. so cancelled it and without an offline service on my phone I won't be subscribing again. It's back to the tried and tested methods which I'm naturally more inclined to anyway. I don't like cloud computing.

The cuts apply to Spotify open, those of us on Spotify free still get unlimited music, with a few ads thrown in :)

I didn't realise there was a difference, thought Open was just Free renamed. Just checked my Spotify profile and it still says spotify free though, so there might be something in that.

Edit:
<a class="postlink" href="https://www.spotify.com/int/blog/archives/2011/04/14/upcoming-changes-to-spotify-free-open/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://www.spotify.com/int/blog/archiv ... free-open/</a>

As of May 1st, any user who signed up to the free service on or before November 1st 2010 will be able to play each track for free up to a total of 5 times. Users who signed up after the beginning of November will see these changes applied 6 months after the time they set up their Spotify account.

Bellends.
