25th Anniversary. Has to be the greatest ganster film going with Casino a close second?

Good film though my favorite is Donnie Brasco. If you've seen it and haven't read the book I HIGHLY recommend reading it because of the extra details the Joe Pisone aka Donnie Brasco goes into.

A masterpiece and Scorcese's definitive work. Amazing it only won one Academy Award (Joe Pesci for Best Supporting Actor) but it was up against Dances with Wolves which took seven.
 
Godfather 1 & 2 were exceptional and although the topics of both goodfellas and godfather were the same there was NO comedy in godfathers which imo made them slightly different in comparison.
But great films and well worth watching.
