Fit's in nicely with grandma week at the moment....Northampton town centre this morning, grandma single handedly stops a robbery, give that lady a rolex!

Having just watched this, its only after the old girl gets stuck in do all the big brave lads around go and help. If she hadnt mithered, they would have rode off into the distance with bags full of jewellery!

This, along with jeans hanging down around your nads, is why this country is going to the dogs...

I would never put my life in between thieves and money. If they want jewelery, let them have it, that's why there are cops. If on the other hand they were hurting someone i would jump in. I assume everyone had the same mind set. No life is worth jewelery or money, so let them have it. The granny in the video is lucky.

Very wise words indeed.You remember someone being killed a couple of years back after giving chase to a handbag thief at Euston station?turned out it was only a tenner that was in the handbag.What a waste of life.
 
I pity these fellas and their time in jail, because once 'Big Tony' down in cell 9 hears the robbers who got stopped robbing a jewellers off a granny are in his nick, they will be getting their thieving back doors smashed in on a nightly, somewhat painful basis. Unlucky, should've got a proper job dick heads.

I bet the granny gets nicked for assault. I would not be surprised one bit. Thats what stops alot of people doing the right thing, because 9 times out of 10 the ones trying to do that right thing get nicked if they inflict any kind of injury to those actually committing a crime.

My instant thought on this was that it was staged, for whatever reason. A granny in a bright red, very noticeable coat, no retaliation from armed robbers, (which you would expect scum who would rob would have no qualms about pushing over a granny so they can escape), someone filming the incident.....

Then I saw it made the national news so it must have happened, mustn't it. Not like we don't need a bit of a good news story at the mo..
 
mate if you look closely,,il tell you something,that street is a one way system,an when that old girl waded in,everyone realised an got stuck in!! that white van went after the chavs on the bikes an scattered em....then a black cab done the same....also blokes got two lads at the scene,the rest were picked up down at the rail station...i know cos this is my town,dont bad mouth people who have a go....she is a fooking hero in this town,haha.....dont fook with Northampton!!! lol
