This is a great gesture our fans have made, well done. However I note that the Manchester Evening News words are (Manchester City fans have rallied behind former boss Roberto Mancini by placing a 'Grazie Mancini' advert in Italian newspaper Gazetta Dello Sport.). Let’s just hope they don’t use this as a negative to undermine our new manager.

Proud of my small contribution to this, many thanks chaps!! now lets all get behind the new regime and save the Mancini songs for any return visits of the legend that is!!

Just mentioned on TalkSport...
What did they have to say? Negative?
If we feed the media then they have a right to do what they want with it let's hope this doesn't bite us on the arse and is used against our new manager as we all know it has the potential to be spun that way.

It will be anyway, the minute anything goes wrong. Its up to the new manager to step out of Mancini's shadow.

True and I think Pellegrini has the experience to do this hopefully.

Time will tell. I did read that pelligrini was very good negative press and we all know that he'll get his fair share. But I do agree I think this will definitely come back to haunt us.

Only if some f*ckwits amongst our fans decide to be against our manager from the outset and criticise at every opportunity. If we all back Pellegrini (or whoever) and get behind him and the team non-stop we really don't need to worry about imaginary divisions.

In the meantime, congratulations to all who brought this tribute to fruition.
