Great News

Whist Hughes is theoretically right in that the situation could be turned around dramatically with two or three wins 'on the bounce' ... he also needs to face up the fact that all doesn't seem to be well in his dressing room ...... without team-spirit and a willingness to fight for the cause , both home and away , we'll struggle to put any kind of consistent run together.

Hughes's words are ringing 'hollow' so far .... we simply can't go on losing twice as many games as we are winning or we'll pay the penalty.

Before you know it January will have passed , and if we're still in the same boat things will intensify ...... players like Robinho haven't come here to play in the relagation zone , and they'll let us know it too .......... Hughes needs to get the show on the road now , starting today against an 'open' Hull side ....... the time for talking is over , we need to stand up and be counted !

Today for me is the litmus test and the point at where either we start winning and Hughes stays for the time being. Anything else and I'm afraid that he has to go even the most optomistic of blues cannot disagree that Hughes's position would become untenable if we are to suffer another defeat. Time to be stand up and be counted and last chance saloon for MH for sure
