Great US TV shows of the 1960's

Can't believe that no one has mentioned Captain Pugwash and his arch enemy Black Jake.

Blistering barnacles! Because it wasn't a US TV show, and his arch-enemy was Cut-Throat Jake, captain of the Flying Dustman.

Not 60s but from my youth. Battle of the Planets and The Man from Atlantis.

Used to literally run home from school so as to not miss Battle of the Planets.

My mom still feels guilty for not allowing me to watch the premier of The Man from Atlantis 'cos I called the lollipop lady a duck and the with reported me. I was about 7. I milk it of course. :-)

Marine Boy - always wanted some of his under-water breathing tablets

Alias Smith and Jones (Can you remember the characters' real names? No prize but glory for the winner)

High Chapparal - Manolito was the coolest bloke on telly bar none.

Hanibal Hayes and Kid Currie were "Alias Smith and Jones" - I cant remember now though which one was which.

Pretty sure Kid Currie was Jones, seeing as he was the superfast gunfighter.

Series was never the same after Pete Duel committed suicide and they replaced him as Smith.
