Mine would probably be Inter Milan vs Barca last year. Everything about how mourinho and the players went about it was second to none. Even when they went down to 10 men they kept their shape and kept what was widely regarded as one of the best teams ever at bay for 80 minutes.

Also another two in with a shout would of course be City vs Gillingham. Taking the blue tinted specs off the rags vs Munich in the same year. Probably the most dramatically late comeback ever seen in a cup final, I dbout that will ever be matched.

I agree with the inter barca one, great games.

My personal would be Liverpool beating west ham in the fa cup final.
Gerrards goal was first class and dramatic.

Champions league final few years ago. Ac milan v Liverpool. Amazing comeback being 3-0 down at half time against a team with shevxhenko at his best, maldini, nesta, gattuso, pirlo.

Spoke about this to many of my mates, they said the 4-3 derby. As we lost in the 13th minute of injury time, i wouldnt know what to say. The west ham - liverpool final is up there.

For me it has to be 'El Classico' earlier this season at the Nou Camp. A complete footballing lesson dished out to Mourinho from Barca.

Liverpool 4 Newcastle 3 1996 sticks in the memory....

as does the last maine road derby....cheers chuckle

Barcelona 3 - 3 Real Madrid

Barca down to 10 men by half time, Messi Hat Trick saves the game.

The 4-3 comeback at Spurs takes some beating.

Another great game from beginning to end was City v Liverpool in the 77/78 season. They went 1-0 up which was usually enough but there was a stunning comeback in the second half which left them reeling and we won 3-1.

city 5 - 2 spurs - ill never forget that day for the rest of my life. was only 11 and i can still hear my dad tellin me on the way home, how hes not enjoyed a game like for years, we stil have the vhs of motd. great memory!

spurs 3 - 4 city - unreal!

ALSO

BARCA destroying REAL this season and the barca winning 6-2 and the bernabeu.

italy vs france
euro 2000 final..... it should be among the bests...
milan vs lpool is a good shout too...

The 4-3 against Spurs is my favourite.

The England v Germany 5-1 at theirs was pretty special too.

I thought the finale to last years World Cup was good, end to end stuff, Robben missing two sitters and the Dutch kicking Spain around. A well worked goal for Iniesta in extra time to win it, great final.

Liverpool vs Arsenal the 4-4, can't remember if it was the Champions League or not, Arshavin scoring 4.

My favourite game though was United and Madrid, total dominance from Madrid with Ronaldo scoring a hat trick and putting United out on aggregate.

Spain 4 Yugoslavia 3 in EURO 2000.

Spain needed to win the final group game or they were going out. Yugoslavia took the lead 3 times with Spain getting back level each time including a 90th min penalty from Mendieta.
After about 5mins of injury time Alfonso scored a tricky half volley to win it and send both teams through.

The best game of a fairly poor tournament.

Not the most exciting, the most exciting are comeback matches, but in terms of sheer brilliance, the spanking Barca dished out to Real Madrid at the Nou Camp earlier this season. I doubt there's ever been a better footballing side, great national sides included, than the current Barcelona first team.

The Italy Brazil 3-2 game in the '82 World Cup takes some beating.

For me its got real nostalgia value too because I was 8 so its the first tournament I can remember vividly.
My favourite too. That Brazil side was amazing but Paulo Rossi had the game if his life.
What a brilliant World Cup that was, especially compared to last year's snoreathon.
