Yes it would. That's why we need them to go out. Probably worth £5-6m extra.
Talking of big money, Maine Road FC won their F A Cup (first extra preliminary) tie replay last night when they beat Winsford United 1-0.We were delighted to pickup prize money of £700!! They now play Ashton (as in 'in-Makerfield) Athletic at home on Sept 3rd and they will hope to pick up even more prize money by winning that one (although Ashton have already beaten us 2-0 this season at their place).
Incidentally, this will be the first home game of the season at Brantingham Road (M21 0TT) due to City relaying our pitch so it can be used by some of the Academy teams. It was always a good pitch, but it should look magnificent for this game.
There are no Premier League Games that weekend (i.e. the one after the Spurs game)...get down if you can.
