Guardiola to Axe Kompany (Various Sources)

It will be another Yaya situation, no one will take him on his current wages with his injury record, and the Chinese seem to be taking the more attack minded players. I can't see him leaving prior to 2019.

There are no problems with his distribution for a centre back.

Pep ran a dressing room with Pique, Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi.

Then one with Neuer, Lahm, Ribery, Robben, Muller and Lewandowski

Pretty sure he could have handled Joe Hart if he wanted to.

Such a weird point of view that some people hold about what Pep is about. Also weird that people haven't managed to put 2 + 2 together in terms of our weak mentality and soft underbelly in the last five years. The dressing purge was LONG overdue.

Didn't even try. Shipped him out as soon as he could. I'm willing to give Pep the benefit of the doubt though. He's the gaffer and he obviously sees a bigger picture. I expected it to take a year for things to start working properly, so whilst it's disappointing, I didn't expect us to win the league this year.

Didn't even try what? He didn't fancy a footballer so he got rid of him. That's the manager's job. It's not like he was the first manager to float the idea of fucking Hart off.

I saw this last night,it has come from the Mirror and the others have picked up on vinny,i'd rather wait for something more reliable to confirm it

Will be a sad day and I agree at his peak Vinnie was one of the best CH's in the world but his passing has never been all that and that is why regardless of fitness he will be leaving us.

Are you suggesting that the club has finally realised it's mistake in letting certain players demand they get rid of Mancini? The soft underbelly coincided with the departure of Mancini. It seems that the players now being got rid of, are the same ones who were supposedly involved in his sacking.

First of all, this is just speculation, lets see what Pep says at lunchtime when he's clearly going to be asked about it.

Its obvious that Vinnie is an issue though, we have given him 2 years of trying to get back to playing regularly and its not happened, so it would hardly be surprising if a decision had to be made. If this summer is going to be all about the defenders then why not a clean sweep and replace the lot (bar Stones). But also, perhaps Pep has an eye on a leader coming in and needs to remove the old head of the tribe to make room. We desperately need a real leader on the pitch for all games and we just don't have one.

Hart was the least of our problems on the pitch. Plenty of positions needed sorting before him. He wasn't booted for football reasons.
