Guardiola to Axe Kompany (Various Sources)

Because the players weren't past it then. Which the title the following season proved. Hope that helps.

So being gobby ****s and having too much influence is just an excuse and a bullshit rumour. They're past it, so we're getting rid. Hard to know what to believe on here with all the bullshit spouted.

Yep, that has been my thinking since the manager said he was fit and was still not getting on the bench or, more importantly, the pitch. This manager doesn't like strong personalities around does he? Definitely doesn't like leaders on the pitch as we found out the other night.

I am still saying Emperor's new clothes and definitely reserving judgement on this best manager in the world rubbish. I support him because he manages Manchester City but I do not wear blue tinted spectacles. Managers come, managers go, players come, players go but Manchester City is who I support and Manchester City remains.

And yet you, Bill even my bloody mum hasn't given Pep a chance because he's let a favourite leave and is probably going to show a few others the door this summer.

He's here to bring a long term plan and strategy to the whole of the club, it's no good keeping Vinnie, Zab Hart etc... no matter their quality if they don't fit into the plan. Like i said earlier it's time to move on, everyone complains that our back 5 isn't either good enough or is too old but then complain when it looks like were getting rid of some.

Do you actually post anything apart from utter bollocks? You know how big Boateng or Pique are?

If Vinnie was 100% fit and there was no guarantee he'd break down he'd be playing, fuck me he got injured in training only 3 weeks ago after being declared fit a few days earlier, he's finished at the top level and has been for a couple of seasons sadly.

People need to face the reality and stop living in cloud fucking cuckoo land.

He signed neither of those players. Boateng is not great in the air is he either as shown in his season at City?

I disagree. Pep might have been willing to work on Hart's distribution but I just dont think that he rates Hart that highly as a keeper. First and last impressions count. Hart was terrible gainst Bayern in the 1-3 in 2013 (and was shaky in a couple of other games against Pep's Bayern). He was terrible for England in the Euros. My guess is that Pep sees Hart as the sort of keeper who is capable of a few spectacular games (eg at Barca) but is also quite error prone. I just dont think he rates him highly enough to be prepared to invest the time needed to improve his distrinbution.

Sure, if Pep knew how poor Bravo would have turned out he might have re-considered selling Hart. But I'm fairly sure that he thinks that the mistake wasnt in offloading Hart, it was in not replacing him with someone better than Bravo.
I seem to recall a preseason game where Joe absolutely refused to distribute the ball the way Pep clearly wanted, so maybe we should not blame Pep too much for Joe leaving. Willy adapted and now he is our number 1.

Do you think Pep is a better manager than Mancini was?

Because they're past their peak. The timing suggests it's almost as if someone planned the whole thing.

If they planned it, then the it looks like they couldn't plan a piss up in a fucking brewery. All our full backs have one foot in the knackers yard, and we only have one cb who will still be here next season. Fantastic bit of planning that was.

Because whilst being Gobby they could fulfil a purpose, now they can't.

He was young and has developed at Bayern, something he never had a chance to here like Nastasic or Savic due to being instant boo boys. He didn't sign him for Bayern you're correct, he didn't sign Kompany either but one's fit and plays one's unfit and doesn't.

I'll leave you to work out why.

That's nonsense mate, he didn't want to be here. He didn't like the country, the city or the club and he couldn't wait to fuck off back to Germany.
