Guardiola to Axe Kompany (Various Sources)

As someone said to me today, if VK was on the pitch, even at 50% fitness, he would be able to encourage & mentor Stones to be more courageous & would teach him a lot of strategies that can't be taught on the training pitch. If VK is fit he should be on that pitch on Sunday! We need a leader on the pitch.
Southampton match 1-1. Kompany and stones together. Can anyone remember how we drew that game.

There is comes a time where we have to let go. the injuries he has had over the past few seasons have taken it's toll and he isn't the player that was in his prime. At this stage of the season we can't afford to throw him in and hope he can avoid breaking down.

Been 'gone' for 2 seasons now really hasn't he?

Sad but completely necessary.

An absolute legend for this club.

Captained us to our first League title in 44 years and was the best CB on the planet that season.

Main man.

Newsflash.

Virtually no manager in the game uses subs before 70 mins or so unless they have injuries.

I know that gets rid of a stick with which to beat the guy with but fuck it, im in a party spoiling mood tonight.

Quite interesting actually mate, you can see patterns between the certain sort of managers as well.

This quote is from the same data with someone else looking at it -

"And yet the evidence is there. Managers who don't use all their substitutions, or who use them too late, appear to be giving up a significant advantage as a result. Maybe a manager who sticks with his original XI for just that little bit longer is possessed of a steadfast belief, not just in his players, but in himself."

Should have been the first City player to lift our first major trophy in 35 years and not that **** Tevez!

It's a crying shame whats happened to Vinnie but he's not been able to overcome this tirade of injuries. He has had something like 35 injuries in the 8 years he's been with us (4.3 injuries a season) and they've not been little ones either, his biggest problem being his calf missing over 100 games for us which averages to something like over 12 games a season, it's not good for a captain!

We can't keep him any more as it's not fair on the other players at the club and it's not fair on Vinnie as well, I think us letting him go would be an eye opener for him as he is at risk of doing himself some serious damage trying so hard to get back to fitness.

I understand Pep wants to build his own team.

However he didn't seem to give Hart a chance and although VK is apparently fit he doesn't seem to be giving him much of a chance either. Very sad to see such legends and leaders at the club not given game time when they are fit.

Hart could be a few reasons one is the goalkeeping coach
Vinny apparently fit?
