I think quite a few including myself have thought that. I think it's mentally tasking knowing anytime you play an official game you could potentially break down. For his sake, it may be best to retire, if he does come back and get injured. It's quite disheartening so witness it repeatedly.

I'm not sure playing for NYC on that baseball mound would be great for his injuries. Its an awful thing of football pitch
 
Colin Bell did great things for City. Shall we put him on the bench at Arsenal? Kompany is all but finished. It's heartbreaking watching him fall apart time after time. As captain he's obviously been an influence but sentimentality gets you nowhere in football. It's time for him to stop playing for City.
 
Be nice to give him one more game at home especially if Chumps League is secure by then.

Deserves a great send off having captained our two titles under this regime.
