Guardiola's first day - Inside City video

Top banana is that.

No other club does this kind of stuff. Gives a great insight into the people/person.

Gundoggan looked star struck.

Really enjoyed that, what a guy!

Particularly enjoyed him asking the kids if they were controlling the ball with both feet, or legs as he puts it! Amazes me to see so many players at the top level who can barely pass a ball with their "wrong" foot. I'm sure it's something the coaches at city are already doing but great to see exactly what the man himself expects!

Before he went on stage he was asking about whether to greet Sally Nugent with a kiss on each cheek. Says a lot about him as a man that he would even think of that.

Looking forward to his press conference on Friday when he'll get the English media treatment... my money's on Pep!

Yes that really irritates me as well, a little extra work on the weaker foot can get results, Pep likes to switch players around so it's logical that he would want them to be comfortable using either foot.

Also noticed how intently he watched the U-13s training, I got the impression he wanted to get involved there and then.

Yeah that was great to see as well. Holistic was the buzzword when Mancini got sacked, we never really saw that with Pellegrini but I'm sure it will become a big feature under Guardiola, if the players demonstrate they are ready. Interesting times ahead.

Mike Summerbee what a bloke, legend. That bald foreign bloke seems a nice fella too.

Agreed. Times like these are true payback for Mike summerbee and others of that generation.

The laughter he has had to endure during the lean times, most notably the year before the 1-6, the sniggering and patronisation from the sports writers for daring to say, consistently for 30 years, that "city will be back" must make moments like these so sweet for him.

He stuck by us in word and deed during the lean times, it's great to see the club still looking after him.

We are blessed.
