That was my Nostradamus-like moment for the season!

In relation to the Stoke game I have watched them play and (like Hull) they represent a difficult game. I have to say that Hughes seems to have them playing much better than Pulis ever did, and even under Pulis we had trouble with them. I think in this game we need to unleash the beast (Alvaro) and start with him (only one up front for the game).

In relation to the lack of co-ordination between Yaya and Ferdy, neither plays the classical shielding role that Nige played, screening the back 4. We don't seem to have acquired a tough tackling holding midfielder, so to me the options are Jimmy in a holding role, or Jack, or Gazbaz (I hope he doesn't go). I would tell one of those 3 not to push up and play the Nige type role.

I really hope Manuel can get this midfield issue sorted. Also I would 100% play DeMichelis with Nasty.

Not sure M.P. (or anyone else) will agree, but, in an effort to combat Stoke's usual 'bully boy' tactics, I'd go, largely, with strength, rather than skill, when picking the side for this one.

Gutted for DeMichelis!!... His hight would've proved invaluable, at the Britania, Particularly on set pieces. (Both for & against)
