Ok here we go again - back by popular demand but probably harder than ever given our new squad.
The guess the team competition will run for all competitive games this season - last year we had 48 games - here's hoping for lot's more this time around.
The season will be split into 12 games "sessions" and at the end of each session points will be awarded to the top ten places ranging from 10 points for first in the table to 1 point for 10th - when all sessions are totalled we have an overall champion - which for last season was Mental_blue with 34 points from me and Melon with 26 points each.
Rules are simple.
You have to predict the starting eleven (2 points per correct player) and the 7 named subs (1 point per correct player) - that gives a maximum of 29 points per game.
If you name someone in the starting team but they are named as a sub - tough - no points! Similarly if you name someone as a sub but they start - same - no points!
My decision is final - your selections or revisions have to be posted before the official line-up is announced - we had a few smart arses last year - I tried to be patient but I will allocate zero points if I suspect cheating.
It's meant to be a bit of fun - it does take a while to do each week so please feel free to enter in the true City spirit of fair play.
