Guidetti and Weiss

Two homegrown players who have really impressed on this tour, Guidetti has been better than Dzeko and Weiss better than Johnson.

Guidetti almost guaranteed a place in the first team squad now as #4 striker but does anyone think Mancini will revise plans to send Weiss on loan to Espanyol as he has been way better than Johnson and although Shaun has had a great pre-season too, a lot of Premier League defenders already have him sussed out.

Don't know what's happened to Johnson, he needed to take the form of his first half season with us and improve on it to stay a first team regular but he's gone backwards big time since then in my opinion. I certainly don't think Weiss is any worse than Johnson at this moment in time so it would be unfair to loan him out while Johnson continues to get chances and underperform. As for Guidetti he's looked good, hopefully see more of him in cup games this season.
