Guidetti is back in Sweden, as seen on Twitter, and has done a new interview today. Quotes:
He was also interviewed by Match magazine, it was published in May but recorded in April.

I took out the most interesting parts:
And back in January, Malaga and Pelligrini were rumoured to want him on loan ( <a class="postlink" href="http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11854/8401027/John-Guidetti-wanted-by-a-host-of-clubs-on-loan-but-Spain-looks-likely-destination" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... estination</a> ). Really hope he'll stay and fight for a spot at City and be 100% fit at pre-season, he seems to have the right attitude.
Anyone watched him lately, how did he look in those reserve matches earlier?
edit: Update 3rd of June
- I've been stopped by smaller injuries (during spring) but it will be gone when the next season starts. It hasn't been fun, but now it's good.
Then it's all City?
- Yes, as it is right now. I'm contracted by City. It's a fantastic club.
The national U-21 team will play, but Guidetti won't play. He's been injured and doesn't want to stress a comeback.
- I'm 21 years old, why should I change my goals. It might take a bit longer time but it doesn't matter.
It looked like bit of a limp when you walked just now?
- That's my swag. It's how I walk.

I took out the most interesting parts:
- City care about me, they've sent me to the best specialists, I get individual training, they send me all over for help. They take care of me as good as they can.
- In the reserve match, Norwich played 5 Premier League players. The coach told me I was the best on the pitch, outstanding, a different class.
- The injury changed me, you now even appriciate fitness/running excercies, you love every training occasion. Mentally I've changed, I can take anything, bench me, put me in the reserves, I can take it.
- When it was at worst, it never hurt. It has just been stressful. No one could tell me anything, answer questions, tell me if the career was over. The worst was watching the Euros. The reserve who got my spot started two out of three matches. I could've played some (without the injury).
- I've gotten tons of support, I can see the end of the tunnel. I won't stress it. The doctor has told me I'll return to 100%, our goal is for me to fight next year.
- This summer will be very important. I might leave to live in some house for a month and just go, training. There's places like that, you get food and people to train you, three times a day. Rehab. I'll "kill myself" this summer. Wake up, do some yoga, sleep during the afternoon, eat some alga (jokingly), whatever it takes, I'll just go. I'll listen to what people tell me (about rehab).
- People seem to believe "Ah, he's back now, he's trained for a few weeks, now he should play for the PL champions." Football doesn't work like that.
Outrun said:Swedish media saying today that the knee injury is worse than expected and will keep him out for up to three months.

Aftonbladet is Sweden's biggest newspaper, and they are sponsors of the Swedish national team. They say City has notified all interested clubs about the injury. But, hopefully, it's just a case of precaution and that no one simply knows when he'll be fully fit.
As I mentioned, the longer interview in the first post was done back in April, so before he got this injury.
