Everton have reportedly agreed a deal to sign John Guidetti on loan in January.

Guidetti plays for Manchester City and spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, where he scored 20 goals in 23 appearances. He has also spent time at Burnley on loan since joining City in 2009.

The 20 year old is a Swedish striker and he will again be sent out on loan as part of his development. Billed as the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Guidetti is highly regarded but has been made to wait for his first Premier League outing for the league champions.

David Moyes will no doubt be using the loan market to strengthen his options come the new year and Guidetti is the first of a couple he is hoping to bring in, according to reports.

Dissapointed if true !!

If it's just a loan then fair enough, give him some food premiership experience in a good team!

Massive mistake if we sell him!

I'm not sure where they got that from as I haven't been able to find a source report. Unless it was in a paper behind a pay wall like The Times.

this guy should be given a chance, i would put money on him giving more effort than Mr. Balotelli

My dead grandmother would give more effort than Mario.

I think this could be a good move for John and for us. Moyes is a very good man manager and if he gets some game time I'm sure we'll get back a better Guidetti next season.

Don't like the idea of helping out Moyes since he dislikes us so much.

I think those feelings are gone. Seems like Moyes has a good relationship with Roberto these days.

Everton have Jelavic, Mirallas, Naismith, Anichebe, Fellaini and Vellios taking up their front 2 places at the moment. He'll have more than a job ahead of him if he wants to start!

Quite frankly, Everton and David Moyes can FUCK RIGHT OFF after the way they have spoken about us in the very recent past.

Strengthening teams who will be right up there can be good if they take point from our rivals, especially as loan players cant play against their home clubs. However Neverton piss me right off and I hate David Moyes.

fellaini is a midfielder for a start, and I'm sure john is confident he can compete with the likes of victor anichebe. victor anichebe and steven naismith for goodness sake
