No but I do have a Guinness and Coke shandy rather than lemonade and lager/bitter and it’s a nice drink!

Wow. Tbf I’m not gonna knock it till I’ve tried it, but nevertheless, wow.

That said, was in Germany a few years back and a coke/lager shandy featured on the bar menu.

As a self confessed Guinness drinker I can honestly say that taking a drink of the dark water from a can is like drinking cat piss.
Draught is the only way to enjoy this Dublin wonder.

When I was a kid, going into a pub and asking for a pint of stout would have been greeted with gales of laughter - cue thirty years worth of advertising to persuade everyone it's a "little old bit of the emerald Isle" and Guinness is no longer looked upon as an old man's drink - still tastes like a shite stout to me.

In the past, Guinness in Ireland was not pasteurised and I think that was the reason why it was much better than elsewhere? Certainly tasted much better to me when I visited Ireland many years ago.
