Guinness is a strange drink, it's either very good or very bad depending where you go. The Church Bar in Alvor Portugal keeps a wonderful pint and it's only just gone up to €5

I'll raise you the black anchor in tavira, perfectly kept Guinness, poured properly by the Irish owners.
Great views of the river as you sit outside and watch the sun set between the arches. Always seems to be a guy strumming a guitar.
I would love to retire there.

If you got a pint served straight up in a Dublin pub without the settle and top up, you’d hand it back and tell the barman to try again.

Absolutely mate.
Walk into any busy pub in Ireland and you'll see many incomplete pints on the bar top, waiting to be finished, each will have a customer waiting.
